Welcome to Local Harvest Cafe and Catering, we are changing the way St Louis eats.

We offer seasonal, naturally raised food, deliciously prepared and artfully presented. At least 50% of our ingredients come from within 150 miles of St. Louis, thereby reducing your event's carbon footprint, and guaranteeing the freshest food available.

Our specialty is serving fresh and seasonal foods. From vegetarian offerings to menus using free-range and grass-fed meats, we use only the highest quality ingredients. We take pride in supporting our local food system, including farmers, ranchers, and food artisans.

Local Harvest Cafe and Catering will work with you to create your perfect event, and we will help make it "green" along the way.

Unseen St Louis, Photos by Sarah Truckey

Our latest art installation at the cafe is a collection of photos by Sarah Truckey capturing the lesser known side of St. Louis. The exhibit opening is on Sunday, June 28 from 3-5pm. All 12oz. craft beers at the opening are just $2 and wines by the glass are $3. Complimentary snacks will be provided.

Farmer Dinner with Biver Farms, Monday, June 29, 7pm

A completely vegetarian meal will be prepared using the bounty of fresh produce that USDA organic Biver Farms produces. Brett Palmier, owner of Biver Farms in Edwardsville, IL, will be present to talk about the food and answer any questions you may have. Cost: $35, optional wine pairing, add $10. New Cafe Hours!

We heard your requests to stay open for Sunday dinner and starting this week, we are changing our hours. We have two great specials on Sundays, now, as well: Sunday Happy Hour from 3pm - 5pm, with $2 bottles of beer (all 12oz bottles) and $3 glasses of wine. From 5pm - 9pm all 12oz bottles of beer are $2 with dinner.

Here are the new hours and the new dinner specials:

• Monday: 7am - 2pm
• Tuesday: 7am - 2pm
• Wednesday: 7am - 9pm - 1/2 price apps with dinner
• Thursday: 7am - 9pm - 1/2 price bottles of wine with dinner
• Friday: 7am - 9pm - $3 glasses of wine with dinner
• Saturday: 8am - 9pm - $6 green plates
• Sunday: 9am - 9pm - $2 bottles of beer (all 12oz bottles) with dinner
